At 9 weeks old, Quesadilla had her front right leg fully amputated, to say it was a stressful time would be an understatement, I went through a roller-coaster of emotions.

After surgery, she had a daily sock change to keep her wound clean and we were so grateful that we had no post-op issues - the cut healed quickly and without infection.

Today, Quesadilla manages on three legs as if she never had four, it is mind-blowing how she manages to dig a hole in the litter tray and cover her business without mess, she jumps from sofa to floor, table to sofa and plays like a kitten with no disability!

Despite going back and forth to the vets, experiencing pain and discomfort, being manhandled daily with medications, stitch removal and sock changes, she never once let any of it effect her and is the most incredibly affectionate, gentle and sweet-natured girl!

After weeks of deliberation about whether we should keep her, I have to go with my head and not my heart, and let her go while she's still young and adaptable. My worst fear, is that I keep her and she gets bullied by my other adult girls, since my spayed girl and my intact girls hate each other, and then I'd have to rehome her further down the line.

So, with that said, I would like to find Quesadilla a very special family for my very special girl. A family that will continue to give her all the love in the world and a chest to sleep on every evening, she never tires of kisses and cuddles and she truly deserves it
