🍽️ Food (What Your Kitten Is Used To)
I recommend continuing with the same food your kitten has been raised on, at least for the first few weeks, to avoid any digestive upset. Maine Coons can be sensitive to sudden diet changes, so consistency is key early on.

Maine Coon kittens grow quickly, so starting with a larger litter tray will save you needing to upgrade almost immediately. I also recommend sticking with a similar litter type to what they are used to.

Maine Coons prefer wider, shallow bowls that don’t touch their whiskers too much. I also highly recommend considering a water fountain, as many cats prefer running water and it encourages better hydration
