Adoption Process
Once our vet has given the litter a clean bill of health at 9 weeks of age, an Application Form will become available on the relevant litter page. Kittens will be ready to leave us after their final vaccine, which they get at 12 weeks of age. By this stage, they will have had at least two veterinary health checks, microchips inserted and a complete course of vaccinations, we also opt for additional protection against leukaemia. Kittens will be fully weaned off Mum, litter trained, drinking water and eating solids, flead and wormed and will be confident, sociable and ready to start their lives with their new families.
We reply to everyone who submits an Application Form, whether you have been successful or not. We really appreciate your patience and understanding during the selection process!
For the successful applicants, we will then get in touch with you to:
Arrange a Viewing
Viewings are done by video call only. We want to keep germs away from young kittens and stress away from Mum.
Deposit
We will then send you a completed contract and ask for a deposit to be made by bank transfer.
Updates
Each week (and sometimes more), you will receive photos/videos/updates of your kitten.
Collection Day
The most exciting day has come!
Over a cup of tea/coffee, I will spend some time with you, to go over your comprehensive kitten pack and answer any questions you have. We will then require the outstanding balance to be made by either cash or bank transfer, at your preference.
